Creating the brand and identification system
Sobranie Cultural Initiatives Support Foundation non-commercial organization was established in 2011 to contribute to cultural, aesthetical and social development of the society, not least in remote regions of Russia. With increased communication activities of the Foundation, the need to develop its identification system became evident.
The visual brand identity underlay a solely typographic solution of the logo and basic style elements as dictated by industry-related specifics: initiating, arranging and holding a diverse range of events and exhibitions in the field of culture and art. In this case, the corporate style should function as a kind of passepartout, a frame of the respective event that attracts attention not more than it is necessary and does not “overweight” art value of the held exhibition. Thus, it was important to find a balance between two identities, one of which was a constant value, and the other was an unknown variable.
During the project we have developed all required standards for different communication channels — print and outdoor advertisement, business documents, electronic presentations and online content. The important point is that the Foundation has finally obtained a "technology-savvy" development kit that enables to create any required style elements with minimum costs and maximum efficiency.
